Dodge Announces the 2018 Demon

The Demon will certainly look like a racecar, but all of the visual upgrades are for performance reasons.

We may have finally reached the peak of the horsepower wars. Last week at the New York International Auto Show, Dodge officially threw down the gauntlet to all other car manufacturers. Based on the popular Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the new Demon will ship with 840 horsepower and 770 lb.-ft. of torque. The added power isn’t coming from adding a few more pounds of boost to the Hellcat engine. The 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine gets a major overhaul with new pistons, rods, valve train, 10% larger supercharger and other major component upgrades. Read full article at OurTribune.com.
