FBI Seeks Gilligan Robber In Humble Bank Heist

Have You Seen Him: A man walked into the Capitol One Bank in Humble on Thursday and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said

HUMBLE, TX — The FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force is asking for help to identify the man investigators have dubbed the "Gilligan Robber," who robbed a Capitol One Bank Branch in northeast on Thursday. The robbery happened at about 2 p.m. on Dec. 13, at 3037 FM 1960 in Humble, according to investigators.

Surveillance showed a man wearing a floppy hat, came into the bank, strolled around for a few minutes and approached the teller.

Witnesses said he handed the teller a threatening note demanding cash. The teller gave the man the money, and he fled the area on foot.

The FBI is looking for a black male, approximately 6-feet-1 with a medium build. He wore a dark jacket, dark jeans, and a bucket hat, similar to entertainer L.L Cool J.
