Houstonian Claims $30M Lottery Jackpot

How Sweet It Is: Newest Houston millionaire quietly claims $30 million jackpot.

HUMBLE, TX β€” Houston’s newest multi-millionaire claimed their $30 million winnings after they drew all six numbers in the May 16 Texas Lotto drawing.

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, won off a quick pick purchased at MJ's All Season Food Store on Lee Road near Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Those six winning numbers were: 20-24-27-37-39-41.

After giving the federal government its cut of the winnings, the new millionaire will take home about $20 million.
