Huffman ISD board hears from contractors, celebrates Burt's years of service
At the Jan. 24 Huffman ISD Board of Trustees meeting, members heard from disgruntled contractors concerning the ongoing discussions surrounding construction and final payments for work done on the new Falcon Ridge Elementary School that opened last August.
Carol MacNeil of Genesis Cabling and Lighting said, “There are several contractors that have yet to be paid to date for work completed on the school. This is hurting businesses and families. I am deeply saddened by this gesture as a long-time member of the Huffman community.”
