Huffman ISD plans for future growth, approves 17 new positions

(Tribune)

On March 28, Huffman ISD caught the attention and presence of Harris County Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey. They approved the addition of 17 new positions districtwide to manage future expansion.
Ramsey was present at the board meeting and stated, “My focus centers on the unincorporated area of the community. As a civil engineer, it is my responsibility to facilitate the design of roads and water systems. Huffman is much like my hometown. When I reflect on my past, I still have my high school football coach’s number saved on my phone. We can never underestimate the impact a teacher or a coach has on a student.”
