At the April 22 Huffman ISD board meeting, several students were congratulated, the board heard public comments from contractors, and members discussed summer sports coaching, purchase of instruction materials, and more.
Prior to the meeting, Superintendent Dr. Benny Soileau and board members presented recognition awards or certificates to recipients of the Mirabeau B. Lamar Award of Excellence, the Academic All-State Athletes, shooting team, Hargrave High School (HHS) CX Debate Team State Qualifiers, FCCLA State Qualifiers, TAFE State Qualifiers, LifeSmart State Qualifiers, HHS Band and Choir Qualifiers, and Falconettes.
