Humble City Council authorizes street closure for anniversary
At its recent meeting, the Humble City Council approved the closure of one-half block of Avenue A

At its recent meeting, the Humble CityCouncil approved the closure of one-half block of Avenue A from Higgins Streetsouth to 111 Avenue A for a seven-hour period April 22. The closure was granted by unanimous vote as a result of a written request to the council by the owner of Lloydβs Bar. The closure was in conjunction with a 75th anniversary celebration that took place at Lloydβs, a long-time establishment in the heart of Humble.
