Humble Family Skate Center lives up to its name after 40 years...

Few local businesses have truly stood the test of time and provided a safe, family atmosphere for over four decades. Humble Family Skate Center recently celebrated 40 years of fun and giving back to the community in the Humble area. Owner Gloria Tate, together with her family, are still the original owners.

Saturday, Sept.16 was a day marked in history for this local establishment as they celebrated their 40th anniversary by offering $5 skating, a lot of cake and prizes galore. Even though 500 men, women and children rushed through their doors throughout the day, it was an emotional time. The local community had just experienced Hurricane Harvey and the aftermath.
