Humble Holding Community Food Drive
A community food drive is being held across Humble to help the Humble Area Assistance Ministries' food bank.

Humble, TX -- With 20 percent of residents below the poverty line and more than one-third of Humble ISD students on free or reduced lunch, the Humble area is keenly aware of the problem of food insecurity.
For children that rely on the free or reduced lunch program, summers can be a difficult time with many going hungry.
To help address the problem, The Northeast Houston Interfaith Council, along with several Humble-area churches and businesses, is holding a summer food drive benefiting the Humble Area Assistance Ministries food bank.
