Dictionaries will be flying in the next few weeks as select area students commit the spelling of words like “canaille,” “achromatopsia” and “phraseogram” to memory. The most superlative student speller in the area will compete and win the Humble ISD Spelling Bee which will be held beginning at 9 a.m., Feb. 17 at Humble Middle School.
