Humble/Kingwood VFW Post 12075 assists widow with cleanup of business

Last month the Humble/Kingwood Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 12075 cleared and cleaned a local pottery yard owned by Irma McDaniel, located on the FM 1960 Bypass near downtown Humble. The pottery yard has sat in ruins for the past four years since the passing of McDaniel’s husband and was becoming a cause for concern for the City of Humble.
Boy Scouts from Troop 674, from left: Aiden Killian, Tyler Wadell, Seth Stoker and Dallin Le Sueur.Members of the post cleaned and organized the yard with its iconic pottery pieces, then created an online auction with the assistance of Kathy Townes, who photographed and staged the entire pottery collection for the online auction, with the support of Humble Public Works.
