Kingwood reacts to removal of Torchy’s flood marker

The popular Kingwood restaurant, Torchy’s Tacos, recently relented and replaced a Hurricane Harvey flood marker after an overwhelming response by the community.

The issue started when the restaurant took down the marker after complaints were made against it, rumored to have been a local Realtor who did not like taking prospective home buyers into the establishment, only to be visibly confronted with evidence of the recent 6-to-8 foot high flood.
