Local athletes qualify for state track and field
On a beautiful spring weekend at Turner Stadium, numerous high school track and field athletes took that final major step toward realizing, or reliving, their dreams of competing at state levels.
In the Region III 5A/6A track meet this past weekend at Turner Stadium, athletes from various track and field events competed for that right, with the first and second place teams earning a place in Austin next month.
