
The Kingwood Service Association (KSA) Parks Committee spent most of the time at its March meeting discussing what has become a full-fledged conundrum: The situation at River Grove Park, Kingwood’s oldest and one of its most popular and well-developed recreational facilities. It was a discussion that included both good news and bad news.
The good news was that after five months of being closed for repairs following Hurricane Harvey, the park had reopened Feb. 1 and all of the remaining repairs were completed in February except the bridge from the playground to the soccer fields. Kingwood Association Management’s Ethel McCormick provided the details of the work done in February. She included a handout that listed items of work.
