Man Who Took 5-Year-Old Sister Hostage Is Arrested
A 20-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday after he held his sister at knifepoint: Police

ATASCOCITA, TX β A 20--year-old man who allegedly held his 5-year-old sister hostage overnight, was arrested early Wednesday.
The incident began Tuesday at about 8:30 p.m. in the 19200 block of Kacey Lane Court in Atascocita, when the man threatened suicide by cop if anyone in the home called 911.
Harris County Sheriffβs deputies were called to the home, and the man left before they arrived.

He returned shortly after midnight, allegedly kicking in the back door to get inside the home.

The manβs mother and others inside the home escaped to call police, except for the manβs 5-year-old sister who was in her room.
According to a KTRK report, the man then took his sister hostage, and held her at knifepoint.
Sheriffβs deputies were called to the home, and SWAT was dispatched when the man refused to come out of the home.
Four hours later, the 5-year-old girl walked out of the home unharmed, and her brother was arrested..
Officials have not said exactly what sparked the incident, but family members said he is easily agitated, KHOU reported.
He is being held at the Harris County Jail without bond.
