“No Cell Phone” signs in Kingwood school zones to be replaced, cl

The Kingwood Service Association (KSA) Public Safety Committee authorized the cleaning, repair and replacement as needed to the “No Cell Phone Use” signs located in all of Kingwood’s school zones.The action came at the committee’s March 14 meeting as a result of Chairman Marshall Settegast’s request in January to take an inventory and check of the signs throughout Kingwood. The request was due to critical comments received from residents. Connie Savage of Sherwood Trails volunteered to take the inventory and note the condition of each of the signs which were installed as a Public Safety Committee project many years ago. Since that time the signs have not been systematically maintained on a regular basis. Savage presented the inventory and said:
