FamilyTime has announced its 2017 Women of Achievement! Congratulations to this year’s honorees: The Arts-Sheila Childers, Education-Barb Campbell, Business-Jill Curran, Entrepreneur-Martha Serna, Homemaker-Bebe Turner, Medical-Lauralee Veitch, Visionary-Susan Pollard, Human Services-Sheila Aron and Monica Strange, Women’s Advocate-Kathryn Townsend-Grinan, Volunteer-Diana Rutherford, Community Activist-Luz Rebollar, Spirit of FamilyTime-Jackie Cate, and Special Recognition-Jayne Hampson. The reception was held at Janet and Dan Huberty’s beautiful new waterfront home, where the honorees were photographed by Pat Guard in the picture-perfect backyard. We served up some mushroom quiches, spinach and taleggio quiches, pineapple meatballs, and a cheese board all washed down with Jennifer Bohner’s delicious wine selections. Seen visiting with fellow Women of Achievement were Twila Carter, Diane Blanco, Halene Crossman, Judy Cox, Juanita Zavala, Susan Meinholz, Kathy Adkins, Ginger Robertson, Michele Dykstra, Tamara Paul, Jessica Beemer, Casey Christman, Linda Prator, Diana VanHorn and Betty Newton.
