Out and About - "It was catfish everywhere "
It was catfish everywhere at the Humble Rotary Catfish Festival May 5. The Humble Rotarians turned out in force to welcome the community to the Humble Civic Center, where KB and Susan Brodbeck, Dr. Bob, Alan and Nancy Jo Darby, Pa McNair, Jess and Varda Fields, Darryal and Connie Chandler, Philippe Cras, Claudia Franco, Diane Blanco, Kelly and Rick Paull, Millie and Wayne Garrison, Gwendolyn and Dave Crawford, Chris and Jana Elliot, John Centner, Rotary Gov. Bill Palko and his wife, Nancy all were seen serving the fish up with plenty of smiles. The live auction featured tickets to see the Houston Texans play and a trip to Steamboat Springs, while Rotarian Isaiah Farr donated a rare comic book that got a $1,000 bid. But who won the car? Hmmm, I don’t think I did, darn it.
