Let’s give some “attaboys” and “attagirls” to a few of our Lone Star College faves, John Denton, Vickie Johnson andSteve Head. John and Vicki are both Lake Houston residents who recently were recognized by Lone Star College for 10 years of service while Dr. Head earned his 35-year pin! John and Vicki are system employees at Lone Star’s University Park campus in Cypress, and most of us remember Dr. Head as president of the Kingwood campus and now chancellor of the Lone Star System. Another Lake Houston fave, Mike Sullivan, now a Lone Star trustee representing the Lake Houston area, was there to cheer on all the recipients.
