Out and About - "Pillars of Community was founded..."

Welcome, everyone, to Out and About – here to catch you up on what's happening in the Lake Houston area!

Pillars of the Community was founded to honor Lake Houston-area couples who faithfully volunteer and support Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM) and have made a significant difference in our community. The Pillars committee – Pillars Chair Devon Alexander, Dorothy Alspaugh, Tom Broad, Connie Chandler, Nathalie Cras, Gwendolyn Crawford, Danell Fields, Millie Garrison, Diane Heinricks, Tracy Hobson, Ellen Johnson, Kelly Paull and Betti Welch – have been tirelessly working on getting everything ready for the gala for the last several months. If you haven’t yet, purchase your tickets for the April 6 event and join Terry Vaughn, Jr., board president, and board members Charles Cunningham, president-elect; Kelley Mattlage, secretary; Jim Brenner, treasurer; Cynthia Calvert, Noel Cardenas, Darryal Chandler, Emelda Douglas, Elizabeth Fagen, Cherrie Ledoux, Marilyn Mann, Deborah Mowrey, Guy Sconzo and Betti Welch. This year’s Pillars of the Community honorees are Bill and Ginny Power, Joe and Corinn Price and Guy and Judy Williams.
