The In The Pink Luncheon is just days away! This year, as chair of the Lights of Pink Awards committee, I am honored to announce the 2018 honorees:
Toni Schau, R.N., our Professional Caregiver honoree, is Memorial Hermann’s Project Mammogram director. She is a pillar to both caregivers and patients in the Cancer Program and is so very giving in her time, knowledge and resources.
Halene Crossman, our Caregiver honoree, is known by a lot of folks in our area as one of the sweetest Southern ladies ever. She is the first to extend sympathy, good cheer and whatever else one may need. Hurricane Harvey did a number on Halene and Ron’s home, yet despite that and Ron’s continued treatment, you never saw this lady blink.
