Out and About - " VLAC is back with their Talent Show..."
Welcome, everyone, to Out and About – here to catch you up on what’s happening in the Lake Houston area!
The Village Learning and Achievement Center is back with their Lake Houston’s Got Talent Show on Aug. 16. The Village wanted to bring a family-friendly event to the area, and the Lake Houston’s Got Talent Show was their answer. The night will showcase many talents from members of our community. Last year, we had a variety of singers, dancers and magicians. The event will feature two divisions: General Public and Special Needs. Sixteen acts will be chosen to perform between the divisions. Audience members will vote for their top favorites from each division, and then our judges will select the winners for cash prizes. Last year, all 200 tickets were sold out, so make sure you get yours early!
