Welcome, everyone, to Out and About – here to catch you up on what’s happening in the Lake Houston area!
This year’s Chicks and Hogs Annual BBQ hosted by Harley-Davidson of Kingwood also featured a Brew-Off with Megaton, Back Pew and Ingenious. The event featured 15 cook teams, a 2019 Ford F-150 donated by Planet Ford for the raffle, and music from the Mike Donnell band. Proceeds will benefit Family Promise of Lake Houston, funding at least one-third of the year’s budget to assist low-income families. “Head Chick,” Family Promise’s Executive Director Carole Brady, made the rounds, welcoming everyone to the event, including: Danny and Geralyn Sullivan, Jeramy Webb, Sam Schrade, Jared Vallejo, Jeremy Williams, Nick Platz, Mark Mitchell, Katie Woodard, Page Cherry, Andrew Bachmann, Morgan McGrath, Amanda Petree, Audrey Mizell, Jean Garner, Jessica Penney and Katie Stowers.
