Parks committee provides horse, alligator updates

The Kingwood Service Association (KSA) Parks Committee held its monthly meeting Thursday, July 12 at 7 p.m. at the South Woodland Hills Community Room.After the approval of minutes, with one amendment made, the floor was opened for comments from the public. One citizen asked if a bench seat could be replaced at River Grove Park and also reported that there was a bench upended at the boat ramp at Kingwood Lakes. The committee said they were already aware of and were looking into both situations. Bruce Casto with boys baseball reported one team from the eight-and-under group made it to the Pony World Series in Youngsville, La.
