Polite Bandit Robs Kingwood Bank
Man exchanges pleasantries with teller before telling them he had a gun and was there to rob the bank.

KINGWOOD, TX β The FBI Violent Crime Task Force is trying to identify the man who robbed a Kingwood bank on Tuesday morning.
The robbery happened at approximately 9:17 a.m., at the Woodforest National Bank inside Walmart located at 2165 North Park Drive.
Investigators said the man entered the bank, exchanged pleasantries with the teller, and handed the teller a note demanding cash and threatening that he had a gun.

The suspect fled on foot.
No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The robber was described as a black male in his late forties to early fifties, approximately 5-feet 10-inches tall, with a thin build and thinning black hair.
He was wearing a distinct striped shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, dark sunglasses with a gray tint, and a silver chain necklace.
Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of this bank robber.
