More than 60 people turned out for the April Kingwood Positive Interaction Program (PIP) meeting to hear Houston Police Department’s (HPD) Chief of Police Art Acevedo and Kingwood station’s new commanding officer, Lt. (soon to be Capt.) H.H. Conn.
The chief did not shy from controversial topics.
“I am going to challenge you. I am going to challenge everybody in here. Regardless of how you feel about immigration, let’s stop using the words Sanctuary City because it becomes divisive and emotional. There is no Sanctuary City.
