Special needs students say ‘thank you’ to businesses

Lake Houston businesses help students transition to the 'real world'

Humble ISD put the spotlight on more than 30 Lake Houston-area businesses for their support of the district’s Transition Program which places special needs students for employment in local businesses.

“Because of you, our students have more opportunities as they transition outside the classroom. We know education happens outside the classroom, too,” Angela Conrad said as she welcomed the businesses to the appreciation breakfast at The Overlook on May 2.
