Apollo took mankind to the moon. This happened 50 years ago and it was (and still is) amazing. I was reminiscing about those adventures and anticipating those of the future. Twelve people have walked on the moon. Imagine what it was like to take that first step, to walk where nobody had walked before, and to uncover unknown secrets. The mission was a great success and brought back 842 pounds of moon rock.
