Student safety or dystopian society?

Humble ISD recently launched a free smartphone app called iHelp. The district describes it as life-saving technology – an easy-to-use app that allows students to remain anonymous when reporting specific threatening or suspicious behaviors. The premise is that students know things that adults don’t know, and the app provides a way for the district to gain this knowledge.
