
Nestled at the base of the Franklin Mountains alongside the Rio Grande, El Paso is a West Texas town on the rise.
In 2012, voters approved a nearly $475 million Quality of Life bond and the city began work to improve the zoo, create pedestrian paths, start a streetcar project, enhance the performing arts center, build a new baseball park, and more. Streetcars, saved from the ‘40s and restored, should be operating by 2018 and many other projects are currently in the works.
