Thank You, From Sneakerdoodles!
HAAM's Sneakerdoodles Project receives back-to-school sneakers donations for local students.

HAAM’s Sneakerdoodles project for 2025 has ended with 336 pairs of new sneakers donated by individuals, organizations and businesses such as Amegy Bank, Plains State Bank, Humble Area Retired Teachers Association (HARTA), BookEnds book club, and local generous donors.
“Did you know? Each year, we collect and distribute new sneakers to local students from kindergarten to 12th grade through Sneakerdoodles - So No Foot is Left Behind, ensuring that dozens of students feel confident and ready for the new year,” HAAM director Millie Garrison said. “We provide comfort and dignity to families getting ready for back-to-school, all thanks to the generosity of our donors and volunteers.”
The Sneakerdoodles project was founded by Trilla Cook and adopted by HAAM in 2017 and, since that time, 3,490 pairs of new sneakers have been donated, So No Foot is Left Behind.
