TIRZ prevented from restoring Kingwood parks

Hurricane Harvey caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage to Kingwood’s parks, but it was River Grove Park that was briefly discussed at the March meeting of the Lake Houston Redevelopment Authority/Tax Reinvestment Zone 10 (TIRZ). The lovely, community-owned park with space for soccer, lacrosse, disc golf, fishing, boating and more was just restored weeks ago, only to face more damage from a recent, and much less significant, rainfall.
