Woodland Hills Drive expansion is a ‘big deal’

There's good news for Lake Houston drivers maneuvering the crowded roads in the southern Lake Houston area.

There’s good news for Lake Houston drivers maneuvering the crowded roads in the southern Lake Houston area. Woodland Hills Drive will be a four-lane boulevard stretching from Beltway 8 to FM 1960. “This is a big deal,” Jennifer Wooden said at the Lake Houston Chamber’s Feb. 9 Summer Creek BizCom at Summer Creek High School. “Phase one, now under construction, includes the addition of a two-lane concrete section to the existing roadway, resulting in four lanes from Beltway 8 to Ridge Creek Elementary, to be completed in the second quarter of 2017.”
