Ellen Hyndman uses yarn donated to the assisted living facility where she lives to make the hats, which she sends to Baylor Scott and White Irving.
2. Health officials say a 46-year-old patient is the first flu-related death in Dallas County for the 2021-2022 season. Dr. Philip Huang, the Dallas County Health and Human Services director, says it's a noteworthy reminder to get those flu shots.
