Allen, Texas - Billingsley Co., a well-known property developer, is almost ready to start the first part of a huge project called Sloan Corners. The project will be on a 500-acre site in Collin County and could be worth more than $3 billion when it's finished, Dallas Metro News reported.

Back in 2019, Billingsley bought 240 acres of land in Fairview. This land is right at the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 75 and State Highway 121. The company joined forces with the Petefish family, the previous landowners, to start developing this perfectly positioned property.

Billingsley expanded even more in 2021, buying another 260 acres in Allen. These new lands are located at the southwest corner of the busy highways, adding more value to the company's portfolio.

Billingsley plans to build office buildings and mid-rise residences at Sloan Corners. These will bring lots of people to the area both during the day and at night. The company also plans to create lots of parks, bridges, and walking trails along Sloan Creek.

Billingsley's website states that, “This community will have more green space than Klyde Warren Park."

As per the plans, Sloan Corners will have more than 10 million square feet of office space, around 6,000 apartment units, and a retail area that covers more than 200,000 square feet.

Dallas Metro News mentioned that this project is even bigger than the Legacy West project in West Plano, which is worth $3 billion and located at the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway and State Highway 121.

The start date for the construction is still uncertain, considering the size of the project.

Lucy Billingsley, a partner at Billingsley Company, said in a statement that the project's location is one of the last undeveloped intersections in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She added, “To do it justice, we intend to build something really spectacular here."
