Kendal Augustus was taken into custody following allegations of engaging in an inappropriately intimate relationship with a minor student.

Frisco - Former Frisco police officer Kendal Augustus, 34, has been involved in unlawful activities. He was taken into custody following allegations of engaging in an inappropriately intimate relationship with a minor student.
The charges against Augustus stem from incidents occurring in the academic years of 2017-2018, centering on his association with a 14-year-old student from the Frisco Independent School District. This disturbing information was brought to the department's attention on June 8, which led to an immediate commencement of a formal probe and the suspension of Augustus.
As the inquiry unfolded, it led to Augustus's dismissal and subsequent apprehension on June 14. The ex-officer is now confronting grave accusations, encompassing child sexual assault, indecency with a minor, and facilitating the sexual performance of a minor. A bond of $55,000 has been established under his name.
