Give Back During Galveston’s 11th Annual Santa Hustle
The charity beneficiary is Galveston County Food Bank, who provides nutritional food to the economically disadvantaged.

Registration is now open for the Santa Hustle Galveston 5K, Half Marathon and Kids’ Dash. The 11th annual race will take place on Sunday, December 18 at Beach Central/Grand Galvez, 2024 Seawall Boulevard. The Kids Dash kicks off at 7:30 a.m., followed by the half marathon at 8 a.m. and the 5K at 8:15 a.m. A portion of race proceeds will be donated to Galveston County Food Bank, whose mission is to provide easy access to nutritional food for the economically disadvantaged and underserved populations of Galveston County.
“The holiday season is the perfect time to give back to your community, and Santa Hustle is proud to be partnering with a charity that supports this - through programs that feed families in financial crisis,” said SHRS race founder Aaron Del Mar. “Your participation in the Santa Hustle Galveston will add to the contribution we can offer to this invaluable organization.”
Cookie and candy stations, along with holiday music and cheer, will abound along the Santa Hustle and Kids Dash course – and immediately following the race, participants can jingle all the way to an awards ceremony! Thousands of people participate in the Santa Hustle across the country each year, and now the race is also offered virtually!

Volunteers are needed! Santa needs helpers to distribute packets, hand out snacks and check gear during the event. All volunteers receive an elf shirt, elf hat, food and drink - and Santa’s eternal gratitude.
