HLSR Guide: Alessia Cara Set To Perform Sunday

The pop singer is the second non-country act of the rodeo. The Canadian brings a young, fresh approach to the NRG stage.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) got underway last weekend with its annual barbecue cook-off. The music concerts began Tuesday night at NRG Stadium with megastar Garth Brooks. Little Big Town was the Wednesday night show and mega country star Blake Shelton was Thursday.

Leon Bridges played the first of many non-country acts on Friday night, and country newcomer Kelsea Ballerini belted it out on Saturday. Now, Alessia Cara brings her pop, storytelling style of music to the stage. She has popular tunes like:

  • Here
  • Wild Things
  • Four Pink Walls
  • Scars To Your Beautiful
  • Seventeen

The shows opened on Tuesday (Feb. 27) with Garth Brooks and will close on Sunday, March 18, with Brooks — both Garth shows are sold out. The full lineup is listed under the video. Click here to purchase individual tickets through ATX.
