Houston-Area Father Sentenced To 30 Years For Forcing Daughter Into Prostitution
Scott Robinson punished his 16-year-old daughter to service drivers at truck stops.

HOUSTON, TX - Scott Rodney Robinson was sentenced this week to 30 years in prison after being convicted of forcing his 16-year-old daughter into prostitution.
The 46-year-old Baytown resident was convicted of aggravated compelling of prostitution, a first-degree felony.
"The facts showed that Scott Robinson forced his own daughter into the depths of the illegal sex industry," JoAnne Musick, chief of the Harris County District Attorney's Office sex-crimes unit, said in a statement. "His depravity earned him decades in state prison."

Robinson's daughter told authorities that her father forced her into prostitution as punishment for her having intercourse with boys. He told her, according to the statement released Tuesday by the Harris County District Attorney's Office, that if she was going to act like a prostitute she might as well be one.

Court records showed that Robinson forced his daughter to service truck drivers who had parked at area truck stops, and the girl testified that she had multiple customers nightly. Robinson forced her to give him the cash she earned.
The Houston Chronicle reported that Robinson was arrested in 2015 when an undercover investigation carried out by the Houston Child Exploitation Task Force discovered his activities.
Authorities said that a tip, referring to an ad on BackPage.com, led to Robinson's arrest.
