Houston Trump F-Bomb Truck Now Has Same Message To Local Sheriff

Truck owner Karen Fonseca, who was arrested last week and then freed on bond, sends the same sharp F--K message to Sheriff Troy Nehls

HOUSTON, TX — The truck that caused a stir in Fort Bend County has stirred it up again, this time picking on Sheriff Troy Neels. Karen Fonseca, the owner of a white GMC Sierra pickup truck, has added the same F-bomb message aimed President Trump last year to the Fort bend Sheriff.

Patch reported on a sighting of the truck last Wednesday when Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls posted a photo on Facebook with a message. The letters on the window spell out:
F[][]K
TRUMP
AND F[][]K YOU FOR VOTING FOR HIM

The truck now has a new sticker to the side that reads out the same message but substitutes 'Troy Nehls" where Trump was. KHOU first reported this Sunday night.

Sheriff Nehls' first posted the photo of the F-Trump truck on Facebook last week this message: "I have received numerous calls regarding the offensive display on this truck as it is often seen along FM 359. If you know who owns this truck or it is yours, I would like to discuss it with you. Our Prosecutor has informed us she would accept Disorderly Conduct charges regarding it, but I feel we could come to an agreement regarding a modification to it."

The post received thousands of comments from folks defending Fonseca's right to free speech. Nehls in contrast posted a law that stated Fonseca could be violating a "disorderly conduct law.

Fonseca was arrested Thursday for an outstanding warrant from 2014. The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said they made the arrest after getting a tip about the warrant.

Fort Bend County District Attorney John F. Healey, Jr. said there are no plans to file charges over the sticker.

"It’s hard to believe that a simple sticker could cause so much arousal," Fonseca said Thursday before her arrest. "I have no regrets."

In response to the new sticker, Sheriff Nehls told KHOU, "I’m not surprised" at the message he called "somewhat disgusting."
