Texas Governor To Meet With President Trump At White House
Meeting will also be attended by CEO of cable company that is opening a call center in Texas.

HOUSTON, TX — Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas, is scheduled to meet with President Donald Trump on Friday morning, according to the White House. The meeting will include Charter Communications CEO Thomas Rutledge.
The agenda of the meeting between Abbott and Trump has not been announced, but it takes place as Charter, a cable television company, readies to open its first Spanish-language call center, which is expected to employ more than 600 people. The call center will be located in McAllen, a town on the Texas-Mexico border.
The Texas governor will certainly tout Charter's plans, because one of the cornerstones of Trump's presidency has been job creation. Expect to hear the president and Abbot take credit for Charter's decision to locate the call center in the U.S.
