Bank-Robbing Women Sought By FBI, Houston Police
FBI says the duo have knocked off at least five Chase branches thus far in May.
HOUSTON, TX — Their MO has been consistent: They walk into a bank and hand a note demanding money to a teller. Sometimes it works, and the two women leave with cash — as happened twice on Wednesday — and sometimes they flee before they can get the money, as was the case in one incident on the same day.
Now the FBI has become involved, putting out an alert asking the public for assistance in apprehending the brazen robbers.
According to authorities, the pair, identified as black females 18 to 24 years old — one is 5 feet 4 inches tall, the other 5 feet 8 inches — was most recently seen leaving a Chase bank in a new-model silver Volkswagen Jetta in the company of two black males.
