HFD Employee Relieved After Sexual Assault Arrest
Brandon Ramirez is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year girl that he met in an online chat room

HOUSTON, TX — A Houston Fire Department employee who was arrested and charged with sexual assault, ha been relieved of his duties at the fire department.
Brandon Ramirez, 27, was arrested on Saturday and charged with sexually assaulting a young girl he met online.
The alleged victim in this case is a 14-year old girl told investigators that Ramirez allegedly sent her explicit photos and videos of himself, and during one of their in-person meetings, had a sexual encounter.

Ramirez remains in the Harris County Jail, and his bail is now set at $40,000.
Ramirez was relieved by HFD pending the outcome of the investigation.
