Hillary Clinton Talks 'Masturbation' Bill During Visit To Houston
Former presidential candidate referred to Texas legislation during speech before political action group.

HOUSTON, TX — She's never one to shy away from making a point, and former first lady, secretary of state, and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Friday used a piece of controversial (albeit satirical) legislation put forward by Rep. Jessica Farrar (D-Houston) to highlight women's health and reproductive rights, which many see as under fire from conservative politicians.
"I don’t know," Clinton said in praising Farrar during a speech at an Annie's List luncheon in Houston. "The bill may be satirical but the message sure resonated."
Farrar's bill, which the politician herself has said has no chance of becoming law, has the following purpose: To express the state’s interest in promoting men’s health; ensure Texas men experience safe and healthy elective vasectomies, Viagra utilizations, colonoscopies procedures, and men’s health experiences; ensure a doctor’s right to invoke their personal moralistic,or religious beliefs in refusing to perform an elective vasectomy or prescribe Viagra; and promote fully-abstinent sexual relations or occasional masturbatory emissions inside health care and medical facilities, as a means of the healthiest way to ensure men’s health.

“When you seriously try to kick millions of women and families off their health insurance, when you believe it would be the right thing to do for your political base to defund Planned Parenthood even though the majority of America disagrees with you, that is not empowering women, that is just meanness, that is cruelty," Clinton told the crowd of about 2,500 that had assembled at a Marriott Marquis in downtown Houston.

Clinton also spoke about the recent missile strikes the Trump administration carried out in Syria.
"It is essential that the world does more to deter Assad from committing future murderous atrocities," she said, according to media reports. "The action taken last night needs to be followed by a broader strategy to end Syria’s civil war, and to eliminate ISIS’s stronghold on both sides of the border."
"I also hope that they will recognize that we cannot in one breath speak of protecting Syrian babies, and in the next close America’s doors to them," Clinton added.
Annie's List advocates for the election of Democratic women in Texas; the luncheon honored Amber Mostyn, a leading Democratic donor from Houston who has been involved with the group for a long time.
