House of Pies To Open Third Houston Location
Bayou City institution serves pies, sandwiches, and other items and is popular with the late-night/early morning crowd.

Houston, TX — It's a Houston institution, and now there will be three of them. The House of Pies announced that it is close to opening its third location — this one will be near Fuqua and I-45 — and within several weeks should be serving its Bayou Goo pie (" hopped pecans with sweet cream cheese under our perfect mix vanilla and chocolate topped with whipped cream, powdered sugar and chocolate shavings") patty melts, and other food items to adoring Houston fans.
The other HoP outposts are on Kirby Drive near Greenway, and on Westheimer. The new location will spread the HoP brand south of the city, and will be open, like its siblings, 24 hours a day.
The Houston Chronicle reported that the new House of Pieswill set up shop in building that formerly housed a Black Eyed Pea location, in the 11300 block of Fuqua.
