Thalia Macias, Houston Girl Missing For Two Weeks, Is Found Safe: UPDATE
Police say 12-year-old was dropped off at a relative's home around 3 a.m. on Friday morning.

Updated on Friday, April 28: The details are sketchy, but Thalia Macias, the 12-year-old Houston girl who had been missing for two weeks, was reunited with a relative Friday morning around 3 a.m. Police officials have interrogated the girl, but have not released any additional details. Thalia, the authorities said, will leave Houston soon and live with a relative in San Antonio, according to media reports.
HOUSTON, TX — Thalia Macias' mother had disciplined the 12-year-old girl on the evening of April 8, and thinks that may have something to do with why her daughter is missing.
Thalia's mother reported her absence to Houston police officials on the morning of April 9, and told them that she had grounded the girl and taken her phone away. She added that when she had gone to check on Thalia that morning, her bedroom window was open.

A witness told police investigators that Thalia had gotten in a two-door black Honda, and that's the last time she was seen near her home, in the 5200 block of Ratama Street in southeast Houston.

"Mouse, if you're listening to me, Tio misses you. I'm sorry, but Tio misses you," Thalia's uncle, Anthony Macias, said, as reported by KTRK. He's been driving through the streets near Thalia's home, carrying a photograph of the girl and showing it to everyone he can.
"I've been looking man. I've been looking in all these areas. I've been looking in places I know I'm not supposed to be in and I still go," Macias told KTRK.
In an alarming note, Alma Romero, Thalia's aunt, with whom the girl lived until about a year ago, said Thalia contacted her briefly on April 21, and that both of the girl's parents are now in jail, as reported by KPRC. Romero lives in San Antonio.
"She called me at the police station on Facebook Messenger and told me that she wanted me to pick her up," Romero said. "When I said 'baby where are you,' whoever she was with made her hang up the phone."
"We know she's in danger," Romero added. "We know someone is keeping her against her will. We heard that they are drugging her up and trafficking her."
Thalia is 61 inches tall and weighs about 70 pounds. She has brown eyes and hair, and was last seen wearing a light blue jumpsuit and black dress shoes.
Officers with the Houston Police Department are searching for the girl; anyone with information about her whereabouts can call the HPD at 832-394-1840.
