Family IDs Body Of Houston Man Missing Since May 29: Update
Gerean Brown's body was discovered by a mowing crew on Thursday afternoon.

Updated at 4:43 p.m. on June 8: The family of Gerean Brown has identified his body, according to media reports. Brown's body was discovered by a mowing crew in a field in the 3900 block of the Eastex Freeway frontage road around noon on Thursday.
“We have not positively identified this individual. We did have a missing person’s report come into the HPD Missing Person’s Unit,” said HPD Executive Assistant Chief Troy Finner. “At this time we are looking at it, investigating it as an accident; that’s what it appears like right now.”
Brown's family, however, as reported by CW39, believe the motorcycle he he was riding when he disappeared is connected to his death.

“It was not an accident,” Brown’s mother, Shirley Davidson, said. “If you did this to my son I would like for you to come forward and say something, please. It wasn’t an accident.”
HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a man last seen on May 29. Gerean Brown, 26, texted a friend that evening to say he was on his way home, but he has not been seen or heard from since.

According to department officials, Brown was last seen leaving Mr. A's Club, located at 3409 Cavalcade Street, wearing a white shirt bearing four "X" designs on it, white jeans, and a red belt. He is 6' 2", and weighs 210 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes and goes by the nicknames of Gee and GBaby.
