Houston Woman Arrested, Charged In Stabbing Boyfriend

A fight that included verbal threats led to 51-year-old man in critical condition with a stab wound to the chest.

HOUSTON, TX — A fight between a woman and her live-in boyfriend Saturday night at 3501 North McGregor Way turned all Bon Qui Qui in an instant. According to witnesses, Ericka Naim and her boyfriend, Terry Cooper, got into a fight and threats were made. Shortly after, Cooper, 51, was taken to a local hospital by paramedics from the Houston Fire Department with a stab wound to the chest. Cooper was listed in critical condition.

Later, police arrested Naim, a 40-year old black woman, and charged her with stabbing Cooper (aggravated assault-family violence) in the 339th State District Court. The incident happened around 11:20 p.m. Saturday.
