It's Official: Skinny Rita's Cantina On West Gray Has Closed
Sign on building: "Door locks to this premises ... have been changed due to a delinquency in paying part of the rent."

If you were looking forward to getting a margarita and some fajitas at Skinny Rita's on West Gray tonight, forget about it. The place has closed.
"The door locks to this premises ... have been changed due to a delinquency in paying part of the rent," a "lockout notice" on the door of the restaurant reads, according to the Houston Business Journal. "The new key may be obtained only if tenant pays all past due rent to landlord."
"Unfortunately, as far as I'm concerned, it wasn't well operated," Haritos Bibas, president of the property's landlord, Noonky Inc., told the Journal.

The restaurant's Facebook page was not providing any information on the situation, though would-be customers had been leaving questions there for the proprietors for several weeks asking if the place had been closed.
"For lease" banners can be seen on the building now, and Bibas told the Journal that there have been numerous inquiries about the property.
