Search For Missing Houston Woman Is Now Murder Case
Police say Karen Ramirez, 26, was shot by her boyfriend; Texas Equusearch is looking for her body.

HOUSTON, TX — The search for Karen Ramirez, who was last seen on the evening of March 24, has become part of a murder case, according to officials with the Houston Police Department, and Texas Equusearch is now searching for her body.
Equusearch is seeking volunteers for the search, which begins on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Anyone able to assist in the search is asked to meet at the Church of Christ Belfort, which is located at 6606 Belfort St. The organization recommends that searchers wear apparel that is appropriate for rainy conditions and thick, brushy terrain.
Ramirez's car was recovered on March 31, and reported that a large amount of blood was found on and under the drivers' seat. Police say that Miguel Angel Buezo, 28, is suspected of killing Ramirez; witnesses reported seeing Buezo fighting with the missing woman on the night she was last seen.
